DRIVING FROM GLASGOW
Travel down the M77 & A77 past Ayr
South of Ayr at Minishant go through the 30 mph zone
Just out of the 30 mph zone turn left at Hoggs Corner signposted to Kirkmichael
Drive exactly 1.9 miles along this road
Turn left up unnamed road opposite the sign to Myremill Farm
Half a mile along here on the right is the Barwheys sign carved into the large stone signposting the entrance gates leading to the private driveway.
DRIVING FROM AYR
Drive out of Ayr on the A713 or A79
Turn right onto the A77
At Minishant go through the 30 mph zone

TRAIN
Ayr is served by a frequent train service from Glasgow Central and Glasgow Prestwick Airport stations. Scotrail. Taxis are available from Ayr station.
TAXIS
Our local taxi service is Hannah’s of Maybole +44 (0) 1655 883330. They have a number of vehicles including 16 seater minibuses complete with luggage trailers and saloon cars. Journeys, including airport transfers, should be booked in advance.
If you require a chauffeur service this can also be arranged.
FERRY
The P&O Troon – Larne ferry operates between March and October. Troon is about 30 minutes drive to the North.
FLYING
Prestwick International Airport is 30 minutes drive to the north.
Glasgow Airport is 1 hour’s drive to the north.
Edinburgh Airport is just over 1.5 hours drive away
